Fun things to do on a trip to the Chattanooga area!


The Chattanooga Zoo occupies six acres in Warner Park just two miles from downtown Chattanooga. It features animals from all over the world including Latin America, North America, Africa and Asia.
Cloudland Canyon State Park on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, is a beautiful river gulch in the Appalachain Mountains that will reward hikers with some rugged hiking trails and stunning views.
Cumberland Caverns is Tennessee's largest show cave, featuring waterfalls, pools, formations and a 3/4 ton chandelier.
Cumberland Trail one of the nation's most spectacular trails, the is located just 9 miles outside of Chattanooga. This beautiful trail, lined with high ridges and deep gorges along the rugged and cliff-lined eastern edge of the plateau, is a must-see for anyone visiting the Chattanooga area. Even if you only have time to do a small section of this trail, it will be worth it.
Bessie Smith Cultural Center founded in 1983 as the Chattanooga African American Museum to preserve, develop, exhibit, study and advocate meaningful approaches to educate the community about the contributions of African-Americans to the community and this nation.
Bluff Trail to Sunset Rock will give you a beautiful tour of Lookout Mountain, and likely some of the most scenic views you'll find in Chattanooga.
Coolidge Park on the Northshore's waterfront, features a restored 100-year-old carousel, a pavilion, an interactive play fountain, the Outdoor Chattanooga Center and lots of open space. It is a popular destination for concerts, festivals, fundraisers and special events.
